This year, grants are went out to provide small $$ gifts for:
DIY skateparks
Queer artists, promoters, musicians, photographers, and performers
Small businesses, events, and craftspeople
Free classes for the community
Zine, music, art, and film projects
Direct mutual aid projects providing the community with food, care, safety and more
This is the third year of the SacDIY Fertilizer Fund and the first year of receiving grant requests beyond the availability of funds. We chose to make smaller grants to meet more requests and are thrilled to be able to support many different people in their efforts to make Sacramento a better place. We only wish we had more financial fertilizer to spread around, as so many inspiring projects are happening in Sacramento. It has been a joy to provide a little bit of financial support to such positive efforts in the area
SacDIYff looks forward to doing more in the future.
